From Coventry to the world—welcome to edition 38 of barnsy – old school / new styles.

Across 24 tracks and almost one hour and 44 minutes, this edition moves through Afro-influenced rhythms, iconic vocals, tribal edits, old-school house memories and fresh dancefloor energy.

The journey comes full circle: it opens with Richard Grey and Kamafro’s Afro Mix of No Scrubs before closing with Silva Bumpa x TLC’s No Scrub 2nite. Between them are tracks and reworks featuring Adam Port, Stryv, David Guetta, HUGEL, Kiesza, Lykke Li, Michael Jackson, N-Joi, Todd Terry, Eric Prydz and many more.

More than four decades after my first DJ gig in Coventry, I’m still searching for those tracks that make you stop, turn up the volume and move.
